20 Mar David and Katrina
David and Katrina have been fostering with Angels since 2013.
“I was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the USMC in 1996, I was assigned to 2nd Battalion 1st Marines in Camp Pendleton as an infantry platoon commander and company executive officer. My time as a grunt platoon commander was by far the most rewarding time I had in the Marine Corps. I was dual trained as an Intelligence officer and was assigned to 1st Marine Division G-2 and later was assigned as an analyst officer for the division. I served over 4 years active duty in the USMC and ended my time as a Captain.
After getting out of active duty we stayed in San Diego and made it our home. Both my wife and I wanted to make a positive difference in our community. We became a part of Angeles a little over a year ago and feel we helped make a positive outcome to a wonderful child that will be able to grow up to be a positive force in his community. We plan to continue to foster with Angles in the future.”
