Psychological Screening

Thorough Screening of Prospective Foster Parents

Angels is unique in many ways, one of which is that we believe in psychological evaluation as part of the foster parent screening process.

People who are successful at fostering infants and toddlers have a stable lifestyle and good coping skills. To ensure the mental and emotional fitness of our foster parents, Angels administers the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI-2) to all applicants. It is the most widely used personality test in the United States and helps us select individuals who are a good fit for fostering young children.
