If you’re a member of the LGBTQ+ community and considering becoming a foster parent, Angels Foster Family Network is here to help. We are a private foster family agency that is committed to providing support to our foster/resource parents and the kiddos in their care, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. We welcome LGBTQ+ individuals and families to apply to become resource parents, and we are dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment so that all families feel accepted and supported.

Case Managers Offer the Support You Deserve

Our team of experienced social workers/case managers will work with you every step of the way to ensure that you have all the resources you need to care for a foster child or sibling set. After approval, we offer training and education programs that cover everything from basic parenting skills to specific issues that resource parents may face. Led and staffed by several former resource parents, Angels Foster has the the right mix of dedication, first-hand experience, and passion to ensure the children in our care – and the parents who support them – always feel taken care of.

Training & Support Groups

We also provide extensive support services to our foster families, including monthly support groups with other resource parents where they can share their experiences and ask questions, leaning on people going through very similar situations, plus ongoing trainings. Additionally, there are monthly reimbursements to help defray some of the costs with fostering, like clothing and other essential needs. Angels does require, however, that parents/families are financially stable without this stipend as we don’t want families relying on this just to get by, as fostering can be stressful enough without an added financial burden.
